Like a rider leaning into a corner, you can begin to shift the balance. Pitwall helps you choose a direction and gradually reshape your routine: organise food, make room for movement and recovery, and establish a new rhythm.
The Pitwall protocol / from data to action
The Pitwall protocol is a clear way of working together. Each stage has an owner and a concrete output: what matters now, what to do, who will help and when to review it. AI helps organise data and prepare proposals; medical decisions are agreed with a doctor.

Urgent medical action is not postponed because it is inconvenient. Your doctor determines what is urgent.
Your goal. A reasoned route. A pace you can keep.
Your goal / The long game
Run your first five kilometres or aim for a world championship title: an ambitious goal can become a route with clear milestones. You do not need to be ready for the whole journey at once. You need to see the next step.
You choose the goal. Experts assess your starting point, opportunities and constraints, then help break the journey into manageable stages.
Each stage has a clear target and a way to track results. At checkpoints, we review what has changed and refine the next step.
Your first consistent week, a new distance, a return after a break. We record what you have achieved and make room to enjoy the journey.
Your coach helps you remember why the goal matters and recognise your progress after a difficult week. We adjust the pace and plan to help you keep moving.
Over the long term, every milestone matters.

The story behind the name
In Formula 1, the pit wall is the team’s trackside command centre. While the driver races, engineers and strategists monitor data, weather and the race itself. Together, they help choose the next move.

Talks to the driver and monitors the car and its pace.
Brings the technical picture together and coordinates the engineers.
Compares scenarios and plans pit-stop timing.
Coordinates the garage and pit-stop preparation.
Monitors regulations and liaises with race control.
Keeps the overall picture in view and makes key decisions.
You cannot give everything your full attention at once. When business takes priority, looking after your health can slip down the list. Pitwall is a team whose daily work is focused on your health and fitness.
Your team / your choice
Bring your own doctor or choose a specialist from the Pitwall selection. Build a team around your goals: a triathlon coach, a recovery expert, a nutritionist, a health coach and AI assistants. You can change the team at any time — your history and shared plan stay.

Build my health team ↗Your path / a return to clarity
When work, travel and everyday demands fill your attention, it is easy to lose sight of where you are going and why. Regular conversations with your coach and a review of your progress help bring your path back into focus.
Together, you reconnect with what matters to you, recognise how far you have come, refine your direction and choose a manageable next step.

Discuss my pathPitwall — willpower outsourced
Deciding what to do is only the start. Then you need the right food, organised training, booked check-ups and a rhythm that survives travel. Pitwall takes on the organising wherever possible and helps turn the plan into everyday life.

Decision fatigue
A new city brings choices about everything: where to stay, how to get around, where to eat. Health adds more: what to order, when to train, how to recover. Even a clear plan can mean working out the details all over again.
Pitwall turns your decisions into repeatable routines. You choose suitable actions with expert support. Your team helps put them into practice in each new setting: finding options, coordinating schedules and handling the practical details where possible.
With expert input, your goals and your preferences.
What to do, when to do it and what to do if the day changes.

What the research supports
In a meta-analysis with 5,439 participants, plans specifying when, where and how to act helped improve physical activity. The average effect was small to moderate.
Peng et al., 2022A study of 1,210 gym members found lower attendance after the Easter break. This describes disrupted routines, not the proportion of people who quit exercising.
Fredslund & Leppin, 2019Planning meta-analysis: 35 trials, 5,439 participants; SMD 0.35 (95% CI 0.25–0.44), I² = 61.4%. This is a standardised effect size, not a 35% rise in activity. Most measures were self-reported. The Danish study found a 12.25% reduction, or 0.24 visits per week, immediately after the Easter break compared with the week before it.
These studies do not establish how many people stop looking after their health specifically because of decision fatigue. Research into decision fatigue itself is mixed. The findings support attention to planning and context; they do not measure Pitwall’s effectiveness.
Review of decision-fatigue research, 2025 ↗We revisit decisions when your goals, preferences or health data change. Everyday organising does not have to start from scratch.

Your established way of life has a pull of its own. When business, meetings and travel fill your day, changing food, movement and sleep on your own can be especially hard.
Your team helps you through the beginning: choosing manageable steps, organising the conditions and repeating useful actions as they become more familiar. You keep focusing on your work, with people alongside you who stay focused on your new rhythm.
A launch metaphor · illustrative 90/10 split
Choose the first steps, reduce decisions and prepare food and training around your day. Your coach helps you return when something slips.
Familiar actions take less deliberation. Keep the rhythm, notice changes and adapt the plan to life.
90/10 is an artistic proportion for this image. It is not a statistic about propellant use or a measured split of effort in habit formation.
Our aim is to help you establish a rhythm that becomes easier to sustain. Effort and support may still be needed, especially during travel and demanding periods.
Repeating actions in a consistent context can make them more automatic; the time and effort needed vary. Propellant accounts for much of a rocket’s launch mass, but that does not mean 90% is consumed just to lift off. The diagram above illustrates support at the start.

Travel, work pressure and demanding weeks
You have just found a rhythm with training and food — then another flight, work crunch or exhausting week disrupts it. Getting back into shape starts taking effort all over again.
During these periods, we switch to maintenance mode. We find a manageable minimum for your workload and surroundings to help protect the progress you have made. When time and energy return, you can build on the foundation you have kept.
When you have capacity
Work towards your goals while your schedule and energy allow.
When demands increase
Adapt movement, food and recovery to travel, stress and demanding periods at work.
When capacity returns
Review your condition and gradually increase the load as you return to working towards your goals.
Your plan has a lighter version for difficult weeks: accessible movement, clear food options and time to recover. Your coach helps you keep a manageable rhythm and return after missed days.
Demands / recovery
Work, responsibility, stress and travel draw on your energy every day. Sustaining a demanding life means making room for sleep, food, movement, rest and health care — with time, attention and support of their own.
Pitwall helps you keep both sides in view. Your team adapts the plan to changing demands, helps organise practical support and reviews with you when recovery needs more space or your pace needs adjusting.

Privacy / The Pitwall principle
Not everyone working with your health measurements needs to know your name. We have chosen an approach that separates identity information from medical data and limits identity disclosure during external processing.
Adopted design · phased implementation
Identity
Your name and contact details will be stored separately, in encrypted form. The encryption key will be kept outside the database.
Measurements
Lab results will be linked to a client code. Names and sample numbers from lab reports will not be included in the results table.
External processing
For external review, including by AI services, the design provides for medical data to be shared under a pseudonym, without your name or contact details.
This separates data; it does not provide complete anonymity. Your doctor and coach may know you personally, and data linked to an ID remains personal data.
The design has been adopted, with implementation planned in stages. This section describes the intended approach, not confirmation that every safeguard has been implemented.
The next stage of Pitwall is a network of residences we operate, where food, training and everyday services follow one logic — so you can move between places and continue your health route.
One approach to care. Across different places.
